Burke Rehabilitation Hosts Adaptive “Chopped” Challenge
Burke Rehabilitation recently hosted its Chopped Challenge, enabling individuals with physical or sensory limitations to participate in culinary challenges. Sponsored by Sams of Gedney Way and led by their Executive Chef Robb Garceau, three amazing chefs and their teams participated in adaptive cooking challenges featuring mystery ingredients and specialized tools and techniques for adaptive cooking. A panel of community leaders served as judges to determine the winning team. Burke hosts events such as Chopped Challenge to highlight the organization’s commitment to empowering and supporting patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
