Hudson Valley Chapter Alzheimer’s Association – Hudson Valley Chapter Upcoming Events 10/4/2020 This Year, Walk is Everywhere
The world may look a little different right now, but one thing hasn’t changed: our commitment to ending Alzheimer’s. The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is moving forward in 2020, and this year, Walk is everywhere — on every street, trail and treadmill. To ensure the safety of our participants, volunteers and staff, we will not be physically gathering as a large group this year.
Instead, participants will walk on their own or with family while others are doing the same. Because we’re all walking, fundraising and working together for the same thing: a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.
Recognized as a Nationwide Top 30 Walk in 2019 (for the fourth year in a row) our Westchester Walk is the Hudson Valley’s highest participated event. Annually, more than 1,500 people participate, raising more than $570,000.
Today, more than 5 million Americans are living with the disease. By 2050, this number is projected to rise to nearly 14 million. Join others as we fight against Alzheimer’s!
As a corporate leader, we need your help to rally your company and community around the Alzheimer’s cause. Start a team, volunteer (virtual opportunities available), or become a sponsor to make a lasting impact on our community while gaining year-round recognition.
