Houlihan Lawrence Realtors Give Thanks to First Responders

The Houlihan Lawrence Rivertowns team launched a virtual charity drive in support of the Police & Ambulance Corp members. So far, the agents have raised over $1500 to purchase gift cards from local restaurants to ‘pay forward’ to the local village first responders. Each village department – IrvingtonHastings-on-HudsonDobbs FerryTarrytownSleepy Hollow, Elmsford and Ardsley – will be receiving a letter thanking them for their service during the COVID-19 crisis, along with $200 of gift cards to supply takeout meals for first responders on duty. The fundraiser is designed to help two communities: local restaurants that offer take-out service and the village’s first responders who are so selflessly serving.

This recent community outreach is part of a long tradition of local support at Houlihan Lawrence, whose business philosophy is that the company’s success is intertwined with the greater health of the communities where it operates. Past aid recipients include the Westchester Children’s Museum, Food Bank for Westchester and the Putnam Community Action Program.
