Marsha Gordon, Sara James Honored at Awards Event

Congratulations to BCW President and CEO Marsha Gordon who was presented the 2017 Editor’s Award for Transformative Achievement. “If not for Dr. Marsha Gordon, Westchester likely wouldn’t be the booming commerce sector it is today. As the President and CEO of the Business Council of Westchester since 2001, her words and actions have had a significant, tangible, and lasting impact,” wrote 914 INC in its 4th quarter issue featuring the honorees. Also honored from the BCW was Sara James, Senior Vice President of Membership & Programs.

Other honorees included: Frances Bordoni of White Plains Hospital; County Legislator Catherine Borgia; BCW Foundation Board Member Maria Bronzi of Altium Wealth; Karen Brown of Hudson  Barter Exchange; Cheray Burnett of St. John’s Riverside Hospital; Dr. Joan Fallon of Curemark; Antoinette Klatzky of Eileen Fisher Leadership Institute; Marcie Klein of Leukemia & Lymphoma Society; Beth Levine of Regeneron Pharmaceuticals; BCW Board Member Dr. Belinda Miles of Westchester Community College; Donna Montalto of CareMount Medical; BCW Board Member Cynthia Rubino of YMCA of Central & Northern Westchester; Lea Tal of Tal Healthcare and Vanessa Wakeman of The Wakeman Agency.

The keynote speaker for the luncheon program was Grammy-nominated songwriter and former American Idol judge Kara Dioguardi.
