Yes She Can – Voices in Autism Leadership Awards

Join us on a very special evening!

This year, Yes She Can is proud to host the Voices In Autism Leadership Awards, where we will honor the dedication and outstanding work of individuals and organizations who have significantly contributed to advancing awareness, education, and support for the autism community.

Join us on May 1st at The Mansion on Broadway from 6:00 to 9:00 for an inspiring evening of celebration and recognition. It will be an unforgettable night of meaningful connections, heartfelt speeches, and the presentation of prestigious awards highlighting the incredible leaders shaping the future of autistic individuals.
At this inspiring evening, we will honor:

Hillary Mercer – Executive Director of Complex Product & Strategy Risk, Morgan Stanley
As a neurodivergent individual, Hillary is a dedicated advocate for neurodiversity in the workplace; Hillary is determined to improve neurodiversity awareness and break through the outdated and narrow ideas of how a “professional” person looks, sounds, and acts via mentoring, knowledge-sharing, public engagements, and transformative thought leadership.

Debra Solomon – Yes She Can Board Member; Life and Career Coach, Spectrum Strategies
A longtime Yes She Can board member and founder of Spectrum Strategies, Debra has empowered countless young autistic adults to develop career and life skills. Her passion for coaching and mentorship has made a lasting impact on the neurodiverse community.

We’re thrilled to introduce two new honors at this year’s event: – the Volunteer Service Award and Community Service Award!

Congratulations to our inaugural recipients:

Volunteer Service Award

Keith Alleyne
Lori Dressler
Diane Slonim
Lynn Sampelayo

These incredible volunteers dedicate three hours weekly to working one-on-one with our trainees, providing vital support that strengthens our Work Skills Training Program. Their commitment helps us maintain the personalized, hands-on approach that makes our program so impactful!

Community Service Award

Jordan Keller
A high school student, Jordan has been an inspiration at Girl AGain. She has dedicated three hours per week to helping at the store for nearly a year. In addition to assisting with operations, she is a whiz at tricky merchandise repairs and helped assemble the new furniture after our recent renovations. Friendly and kind to trainees and shoppers, Jordan has been indispensable.

You can purchase an ad, be one of our sponsors, or attend our event!

We can’t wait to share with you this special evening.
