Paraco Gas Showcases Power of Propane on Fox & Friends and Fox Weather

BCW Member Paraco Gas, one of the nation’s leading propane suppliers, partnered with the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) to highlight the benefits of propane during a special National Propane Day feature on Fox & Friends and Fox Weather. The segments, which aired on Tuesday, showcased propane’s reliability, efficiency, and environmental benefits, including propane’s role as a clean, versatile energy source for homes and businesses.
The broadcast featured HGTV host and PERC spokesperson, Matt Blashaw, who demonstrated how propane-powered appliances—such as water heaters, ranges, fireplaces, and generators—can enhance home living while ensuring safety and resilience during emergencies.
Paraco supplied all of the propane for the segments, working alongside strategic vendors Ray Murray, Inc., F.W. Webb Company, Connecticut Appliance, and Fireplace Distributors, and Torrco, who provided the featured appliances. Together, they showcased the real-world applications of propane technology highlighting its versatility and efficiency in everyday home settings.
“We’re proud to be part of this impactful event,” said Christina Armentano, COO of Paraco Gas. “Special thanks to Fox for celebrating National Propane Day with us and highlighting propane’s role as a clean, efficient energy source that meets community needs while supporting sustainability and reducing emissions too.”
The segments focused on the following benefits of propane:
Efficiency: Propane appliances, including water heaters and ranges, offer exceptional energy efficiency, reducing operating costs while delivering superior performance.
Reliability: Propane standby generators keep homes running during power outages, ensuring continued access to heating, cooling, and refrigeration when electricity is unavailable.
Environmental Benefits: Propane produces 43% fewer greenhouse gasses than electricity generated from the U.S. grid, and is a clean, non-toxic energy source that won’t contaminate soil or groundwater.
Safety: Propane systems are equipped with rigorous safety features, including a distinct odor for leak detection, making them a safe and secure energy choice for homeowners.
