BCW Member Kimball Named Executive Director of State Housing Association
Congratulations to Yonkers Housing Authority President and CEO Wilson Kimball who has been named as Executive Director of the New York State Public Housing Authority Directors Association (NYSPHADA). NYSPHADA is New York State’s leading organization in providing information to New York State Housing Authorities by providing networking opportunities through communication, training and education.
Kimball, who is a BCW Board Member, will serve in this new role while remaining as President and CEO of the Yonkers Housing Authority (YHA), helping to bring her experience and knowledge to the rest of New York.
Kimball, who has been President and CEO of YHA since 2020, has overseen the successful renovation of 1,800 units of Yonkers affordable housing during her tenure as well as championed the construction of sustainable senior housing. She had previously served as Commissioner of Planning and Development for the City of Yonkers since 2013. And prior to that served as Senior Vice President of Operations for the Hugh L. Carey Battery Park City Authority in New York City.
