BCW’s Gordon and Ravitz Attend Business Council of NY Reception

BCW President & CEO Marsha Gordon and BCW Executive Vice President and COO John Ravitz were among the dignitaries attending The Business Council of New York State’s annual Legislators’ Reception held  Monday at the Capital Center in Albany. More than 550 lawmakers, lobbyists, and Business Council members attended the event.

The all-day event began with Business Council board meetings throughout the morning and afternoon and concluded with the reception. Governor Kathy Hochul attended the event and delivered brief remarks to attendees.

“We look forward to this function each year as it is the premier networking event in Albany,” said Patrick Bailey, Director of Communications for The Business Council. “This program allows us to provide our members the opportunity to interact with members of the New York State Legislature and other top New York State government officials.”

Other notable event guests included New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli, New York State Labor Commissioner Roberta Reardon and elected members of the New York State Legislature, including Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins.
