We’re Hiring! Office Manager for Historic Landmark Site
Do you love history, nature, culture and being part of a dynamic team? Want a flexible part-time role that works with your schedule?
We’re looking for an organized, self-starter to help manage the headquarters office of the Jay Heritage Center (JHC), an award-winning nonprofit educational organization based in Rye, New York. JHC’s offices are located at the landmark Jay Estate, a stunning 23-acre park along the shore of Long Island Sound. We host innovative and inclusive programs in American History, Architecture, Environmental Stewardship, and Social Justice.
The Office Manager will assist Executive Director, Kevin Peraino in all aspects of the management of the headquarters office. Duties will range from clerical tasks like data entry, invoice management, and answering the telephones, to coordinating the logistics of school field trips to the site, to light marketing responsibilities including liaising with the local media. Compensation is $30 per hour, 17 hours per week.
