Janice Dean of Fox and Friends visits the John D. McKean Fireboat
As you most likely realize by now, today is the 22nd anniversary of 9/11. In case you forgot, I belong to The Fireboat McKean Preservation Project with the goal of preserving and restoring the historic John D. McKean Fireboat. In short, the McKean Fireboat played major roles in the events that took place on 9/11 and the US Airways Flight 1549 “Miracle on the Hudson” river landing. Remember it was not a crash, but miraculously, a river landing! On the morning of the 20th anniversary of 9/11, the McKean Fireboat was moored at Pier 25 which is located on the lower westside of Manhattan, and Janet Dean of Fox and Friends did her weather reports from the McKean Fireboat. She also interviewed several members of the McKean Fireboat crew who were on the fireboat during 9/11. Janice Dean and her Fox and Friends camera crew will appear this morning at the McKean Fireboat in Stony Point, NY to do her weather reports and interview some firefighters who were on the McKean Fireboat on 9/11 as well as several members of the McKean Fireboat Preservation Project. Fox and Friends is on between 6:00am – 9:00am. Aside from the local news cable station News12W/HV, Fox 5 NY and Fox and Friends were the only outlets to respond to my invitation. If you can’t watch Fox and Friends live, DVR the program so you will catch the John D. McKean Fireboat reports. First live report is scheduled for 6:40 am. https://www.fireboatmckean.org/new-page |
