In yet another example of Westchester County’s fast-growing health care sector, White Plains Hospital Physician Associates has begun opening its new offices at the former Lord & Taylor department store building in Eastchester. The hospital has leased space in the building that has a total of about 215,000 square feet on three floors at 750 White Plains Road. Westchester Parks Foundation’s Camp Morty, a free residential summer camp for underserved youth in North Salem, recently received a generous $10,000 donation from BCW Member Thalle Industries. The donation will help furnish a cabin for Camp Morty’s Merriwood program, which provides empowerment and leadership development for campers ages 13–15. “We really appreciate all the things that Thalle Industries does for our parks foundation,” said Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins. “This is about Camp Morty and it’s certainly about making sure that all our young folks get this great opportunity to be here.
