BCW member, the New York Medical College (NYMC), broke ground Tuesday on an expansion of a Simulation and Educational Facility at its Center for Disaster Medicine. The expansion will allow the center to strengthen its position as the optimal resource for providing essential disaster medicine training and education statewide. BCW member Wilder Balter Partners celebrated the opening of its new, 82-unit affordable housing development in Peekskill on Monday. The Chappaqua-based developer partnered with the Housing Action Council for the $51 million rental apartments project that will be accessible to households earning from 40% to 80% of the county’s Area Median Income (AMI). According to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Westchester County’s AMI for 2023 is $102,800 for a single person and $132,150 for a family of three.
