Amazon Web Services (AWS) has accepted Lessonbee—a Westchester Innovation Network (WIN) participant—into its Education Accelerator. The Stamford-based Lessonbee will participate in a 10-week immersive experience for global EdTech startups that want to accelerate their go-to-market activities in the United States for the PK-12, higher education, and workforce education markets. BCW Member Iona University announced this week a partnership with the United States Secret Service that will include campuswide recruitment sessions for Gaels and other college students from across the Hudson Valley to help expedite the hiring process. Kicking off the partnership at Iona, U.S. Secret Service agents spoke to six criminal justice classes about various career opportunities available within the agency as well as agency qualifications and duties.
