Stories on Hudson and Westchester Children’s Association (WCA) present “Growing Pains” an intimate fundraising event dedicated to sharing real-life stories that capture the essence of our community’s spirit and struggles. This event is a fundraiser for WCA the only independent children’s advocacy in the county. Advocacy is now more important than ever to ensure the well-being of our children is protected. Adaptive athletes, runners, walkers, and families all compete together at the annual Heels & Wheels 5K Road Race & Walk and Kids Fun Run. The Heels & Wheels 5K is unique in that it is one of the only events of its kind that allows participants of all ability levels to compete together in a supportive environment. Community members are invited to attend and cheer on the athletes.
