Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley (RMHGHV) announced a partnership with Contender eSports in Wappingers Falls to host a Super Smash Bros Ultimate Tournament at the Contender location with proceeds benefiting RMHGHV. The tournament will be held on Saturday, July 16th, with registration opening at 11 a.m. and the tournament starting at 12:30 p.m. Top three players from both a Novice and Advanced bracket will receive prizes valued at more than $1,000 and all pre-registered participants will receive an RMHGHV swag bag and Give by Gaming t-shirt. ArtsWestchester’s Serious Fun Arts Fest (Oct 12-16) is thrilled to continue its celebration of the arts with a day of live music featuring Sammy Rae & The Friends in a headliner afternoon concert on October 16th at 5 PM! The outdoor White Plains concert will take place on Mamaroneck Avenue between Martine and Main Street and will be standing room only. Two bands will open for Sammy Rae & The Friends (TBA).
