Fullerton Beck’s Medical Malpractice team successfully secured a discontinuance on all claims for a hospital client in a medical malpractice lawsuit involving allegations of pressure ulcers leading to sepsis, internal bleeding, and wrongful death. Attorney Laura Russell filed a compelling motion for summary judgment, arguing that the pressure ulcers developed before the decedent’s admission to the hospital and remained stable during its care. Fullerton Beck partner Jason Aaron secured a pre-discovery dismissal in a New York premises liability case on behalf of the firm’s client, an exterior restoration contractor. The plaintiff sued our client for personal injuries stemming from an allegedly dangerous condition at a large commercial property, and the co-defendants asserted crossclaims for indemnification and contribution.
