BCW Member United Way of Westchester and Putnam announced this week that the State Legislature has awarded $2.4 million to the state’s 211 Helpline network, operated by local United Ways, to ensure that these community resource centers continue to connect individuals with health and human service needs to the right resources. The number of inquiries in 2021 was up 153% over 2019. The BCW’s Spring Circles of Influence event held this week was a record-breaking success! The event was held at the Sonesta Downtown White Plains, with over 200 people in attendance. Many members were there as well to network and connect with fellow business professionals. A total of 38 businesses joined the BCW at Tuesday’s event.
