The BCW has joined with a collation of 34 other business, construction and municipal organizations in calling for more than $1 billion in additional funding for road improvement projects across New York, citing higher costs that have diluted the impact of recent spending pledges. Yonkers’ starring role as Hollywood on Hudson continues to grow with reports this week that BCW members National Resources and Great Point Studios, which built the new Lionsgate TV and film production studio on the downtown waterfront, have closed on the former Leake & Watts property on Hawthorne Avenue for another studio.
