In a significant victory for new land uses in the Town of Yorktown, the New York State Supreme Court recently upheld zoning overlay districts adopted by the Yorktown Town Board in 2021 to incentivize economic development. There’s been a changing of the guard at The College of Westchester with the recent announcement that President Mary Beth Del Balzo is retiring from her role as President, effective December 31, 2023. She will remain on the Board of Trustees as President Emeritus, on the CW Charitable Foundation Board, continuing to create outreach to the local, regional and national community. It was also announced that the Board of Trustees unanimously approved the appointment of Karen J.
