The Westchester Innovation Network (WIN) recently concluded another successful collaboration by helping to bring financing solutions to a local medical equipment vendor. WIN paired Ampli-Fi — an early-stage medical sector lender — with Westchester’s Glo-Med Networks, Inc., a global sales and distribution business that sells medical devices and related products. In a groundbreaking public-private pilot program to provide up to $1 million to strengthen local downtown areas, Westchester County Executive George Latimer announced this week the next phase of Westchester County Office of Economic Development’s Business FIRST Program focusing on downtown improvement and stimulating economic revitalization at the local level.
