BCW President & CEO Marsha Gordon and BCW Executive VP and COO John Ravitz recently had the opportunity to visit the newly opened Amazon Distribution Center in Hawthorne. Joining them on the tour were government leaders including County Legislature Chair Vedat Gashi and Mount Pleasant Supervisor Carl Fulgenzi. BCW Westchester Innovation Network (WIN) participant Novel Tutoring recently concluded a literacy pilot project with the YMCA of Central and Northern Westchester to help parents and educators use Novel Tutoring’s platform to teach reading skills to children. The Active Reader Early Literacy Pilot recruited educators and parents to participate in the introductory online workshops.
