RBT CPAs presents at GVScon in Tarrytown

RBT CPAs Veterinary Accounting team, including Partner Carolyn Bell, CPA, Partner Susan Howell, CPA, and In-Charge Accountant Leah Haines, attended the third annual GVScon, which took place May 2nd and 3rd at the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown, NY. Partner Carolyn Bell presented on the topic, “From Numbers to Knowledge: Understanding Financial Statements for Practice Growth,” teaching attendees how to spot performance trends and use financial data to drive profitability, improve cash flow, and support smarter growth decisions.

Guardian Veterinary Specialists (GVS) is committed to delivering exceptional care to pet patients and supporting the veterinary community by sharing resources, ideas, and knowledge. GVScon, Guardian’s annual veterinary conference, is a continuing education event designed to bring together a vast network of veterinary professionals from across the nation to share critical insights and best practices for veterinarians, technicians, and practice managers alike.

GVScon 2026, which was Hollywood-themed, delivered a weekend of learning, engagement, networking, and professional development. In line with this year’s theme, RBT’s vendor booth offered customized laser-engraved, Hollywood star-shaped pet tags—a favorite among conference attendees. The event, which featured a range of speakers with diverse expertise, was a remarkable success.

RBT CPAs Partner Carolyn Bell says, “RBT CPAs is honored to have presented to veterinary practice managers on understanding financial statements as a foundation for sustainable practice growth. We truly enjoyed meeting all the attendees who stopped by to meet us and we’re grateful to Guardian Veterinary Specialists for inviting us to be a part of such an incredible, dynamic weekend.”
